Exploring the Ancient Greek Myths and Legends

ancient greek pictures Achilles Greek Heroes

For thousands of years, the myths of Greek heroes from Ancient Greece have intrigued all of us. These are stories of brave heroes, savage monsters, and powerful Greek gods and goddesses. Myths blend fact and fiction that can help us to better understand the behaviors, customs, and way of life of the people of Ancient Greece.

I believe we can learn a great deal about the Ancient Greek ideas on what made a person a good person if we explore the heroes from their myths. Greek philosophers focused on what is good and what makes people good. And these heroes are the people that the Ancient Greeks felt represented what was good and what ideals to strive for.
